The Stealth Pumps are a state of the art new "ground up" design. These pumps were designed and
manufactured right here in the U.S.A. The new Stealth Pumps hold a United States Patent Pending.
The new multi-stage design Stealth Pumps will outperform all other pump designs on the market
today in function, fitment, and all around performance, including our own previous design.

The HUEI injection system that the 7.3L Powerstroke utilizes is a brilliant injection system, with one
flaw. If you change one of the injection system variables such as an aftermarket computer chip
and/or a set of aftermarket injectors the factory HPOP (High Pressure Oil Pump) cannot keep up
with the demand. The problem in making serious horsepower with the 7.3L Powerstroke is the lack
of oil volume supplied to the injectors when one of the injection system variables is pushed past the
stock parameters. Have you ever noticed that 50% to 75% percent throttle feels just as powerful as
putting your foot to the floor? That is because you are losing oil volume to the injectors.

The HEUI injection system was designed to run efficiently at 3000+ psi, when the oil pressure drops
you are losing fuel atomization which translates into a loss of Horsepower, Torque, and MPG. HPOP
oil pressure drops also translate into an increase in exhaust gas temperatures and smoke levels.

The new Stealth Pumps will help create a flatter torque curve and more top end hp. This will result in
a more efficient burn resulting in more mpg and a better towing truck. More atomization means less
turbo needed to burn the same amount of fuel which translates into an increase in cleaner HP.
Previous pump setups such as our previous design, the Stealth Pump System, coupled two factory
pumps together, thus doubling HPOP volume. These systems worked very well except you were still
using the factory pumps. These factory pumps were not designed for the higher RPMs, pressure,
and demands that we need when used in a high performance application.

The new Stealth Pumps have been tested with very large BI code 530 split shot performance
injectors and have not showed any oil pressure drop. There are no Powerstroke 7.3L HEUI injectors
on the face of the planet that one of these Stealth Pumps will not support. This system will take your
street truck, drag truck, or pulling truck to the next level!

Stealth Pump Facts vs. Myths

The purpose of this sectoin is to educate those of you who are in the market for a high performance HPOP (High Pressure Oil Pump).  The
information below will help you decide on which system is the one for you even if it is not one of our designs.  We will supply the information in the
form of questions and answers (Q and A).  We will debunk some of those myths out there about HPOP's and how they work.  The information you will
find here is 100% UNBIASED and based on FACTS!  We have done a tremendous amount of research and development on the HEUI injection system
for the 7.3L Powerstroke engine and would like to share our knowledge base with you.
UPDATE!!!!!!  We have added more questions and answers
to this page due to the fact of B.S. rumors from one of our competitors being spread trying to discredit our product.

QUESTION:  How do I know if I need a aftermarket HPOP or not?
ANSWER:  If your factory HPOP, IPR valve, and ICP sensor are in good working condition and you are getting  a service engine soon light then you
might be in need for a aftermarket HPOP.  We recommend that you have at least a "hot" performance chip or box to utilize a aftermarket pump.
If you have injectors and/or a performance chip then you probably can benefit from a aftermarket HPOP.

QUESTION:  Will my completely stock truck benefit from a aftermarket pump?
ANSWER:  No.  These aftermarket pumps will not improve performance if you have no injection system or computer fueling modifications.

QUESTION:  Do these pumps improve fuel mileage, exhaust gas temps, or smoke levels?
ANSWER:  Yes and No.  Yes aftermarket pumps will improve your fuel mileage. Aftermarket pumps can also help reduce your exhaust gas temps and
smoke levels.  There is one catch though,  these pumps improve performance so much that you are tempted to "put your foot into it" and that is what
will keep you from seeing fuel mileage, EGT, or smoke level improvements.  Most people will see a improvement when the novelty wears off.  What
happens is they become accustom to the power increase and start to drive "normal" again.  How much of an improvement varies from truck to truck
and setup to setup, so definite numbers can't be stated.

QUESTION:  How much of a power increase will I see with one of these aftermarket pumps?
ANSWER:  Well, that is a loaded question.  Power level increases once again vary from truck to truck and setup to setup.  We have seen up to a
39h.p. and 89 lb/ft. tq increase at the wheels on a truck with nothing more than a aftermarket chip, intake, and exhaust.  You will see more of a power
level increase the with bigger injectors and/or hotter tuning.  The bigger the injectors the better these pumps perform.

QUESTION:  Do I have to modify anything to install one of the new Stealth Pumps?
ANSWER:  No, if you are installing one of our Stealth Pumps on a 99' to 03' 7.3L Powerstrokes.  Yes, if you are installing one of the Stealth Pumps
on a 95' to 97' 7.3L Powerstrokes.  95' to 97' Powerstrokes must relocate their fuel filter bowl.

QUESTION:  How come you don't recommend your Stage I or Stage II Stealth Pumps for larger injectors?
ANSWER:  We only recommend Stage I pumps for up to 200cc injectors and Stage II pumps for up to 350 to 400cc injectors because that is the
largest that those pumps will run efficiently.  Our Stage I or II pumps might flow enough to run some larger injectors but they will not be at their most
efficient level.  The larger the pump you go with the faster it can build pressure from idle to WOT.  Some company's out there might recommend their
smaller pumps for larger injectors than we do, but they probably won't be operating those larger injectors properly.  You are going back to the same
problem which is why you are looking for a aftermarket pump in the first place.  If a stock pump can't keep up with stock split shot injectors and a hot
chip, then how can a pump that only flows 50% more than keep up with injectors that are 100% larger than stock?

QUESTION:  Why does the Stealth Pumps use a 4 line output kit when other company's don't?
ANSWER:  When you increase the size and volume output of a pump you must increase line size, or the number of lines to be able to keep up with
the increase in pump flow.  The factory two lines and fittings will only flow so many gallons per minute, those two lines will become a pressure
restriction.  We have seen a pressure "back-up" when running larger pumps with the factory two HPOP lines, as much as a 600 to 700 psi difference
between the pump and the head.  By increasing to 4 lines we are effectively doubling the GPM's that can be transferred to the heads.  This allows the
pumps to operate at their full potential.  Lets say that you had a 100 gallon fuel tank and you wanted to get that fuel out as fast as you can, you have
your choices between a average home garden hose or a fire hose.  Which hose would you use?

QUESTION:  How much pressure can I run with my pump and injectors?
ANSWER:  The factory designed our HEUI injectors in our 7.3L Powerstrokes to run efficiently at approximately 3000 psi.  We don't recommend
running pressures over 3200 to 3300 psi.  There are no significant power gains by ramping pressures over 3400 psi regardless of what you hear out
there.  All you will do is create unwanted stress on your injectors and injection system components.

QUESTION:  I heard that the new Stealth Pumps won't make pressure at lower rpm's as well as other pumps, is this true?
ANSWER:  This rumor could not be further from the truth.  The fact is these new pumps will build pressure faster than any other pump out there.
These new pumps will reach any pressure level at any rpm if the programming asks for it.  We are working on pressure graphs as well as Auto
Enginuity files and video files of live pressure gauges.  This is just one of many B.S. rumors out there that was created by one of our competitors to
try to lure you toward their product.  Check out this video
HERE!  There will be more videos to come.

QUESTION:  There is a rumor that the Stealth Pumps are only a 5 piston design, where as the factory pump is a 7 piston design. Is this true?
ANSWER:  Once again this is another B.S. rumor spread by one of our competitors.  The fact is these new pumps are a 9 piston design not 5.  This
competitor is guessing as to how our pumps are designed.  They have no factual information.  We may release some pictures of the internals to show
people how well these pumps are built.  The stock pumps or even these "modified" stock pumps that our competitor is selling don't even come close
to the quality or performance of these new Stealth units.

QUESTION:  They are saying that the stock pump has steel inserts to prevent erosion from high pressure and the Stealth does not. Is this true?
ANSWER:  This one is laughable.  This rumor truly shows the competitor in questions ignorance to the stock pumps and these new Stealth pumps.
The only area that the stock pump has a steel insert is just under the outlet ports on the pump.  They are there for a solid sealing surface for the
factory hemholtz valves aka "check valves".  Rexroth, the ones who designed the factory HPOP, didn't want the check valves beating on the aluminum
housing when they open and closed.  The fact is that the whole high pressure side of the factory pump is cast aluminum.  If Rexroth was worried
about "erosion" due to a water jet cutting effect, don't you think that they would have made the pump housing out of a different material rather that
making it out of a cast aluminum.  Our Stealth pumps are cut from a solid billet of 6061 T-6 aircraft grade aluminum and is also hard anodized inside
and out.  We are going to put up some cutaways of a stock HPOP vs. our Stealth pumps soon.  A picture is worth a thousand words.
